Hollywood star Blanca Blanco showed off her incredible figure on Valentine's Day as she posed in pink and red lingerie.
The actress - who has starred in Tale Of Tails and Eye For Eye, and will next play a psychiatrist in the movie Ash And Bones - was in a pink bra with red hearts and little Love XOXOX briefs that made the most of her figure.
The girlfriend of The Deer Hunter actor John Savage was posing for photographer Filip Shobot near a white sand beach as she soaked up the sun in the Caribbean during her winter vacation away from Los Angeles.
The brunette bombshell - who was last seen in a blue bikini - also shared exclusively with DailyMail.com how she managed to keep a flat tummy and abs even though she still enjoys what she eats.
Turns out there are easy tricks she follows that makes her look camera ready. 'It takes just 20 minutes a day and you can do it from the comfort of your home while watching TV,' she said.
'I have become obsessed with my midsection lately,' Blanca told DailyMail.com.
'I want a very flat tummy and I have also tried to work on my abs. Everyone on Instagram has amazing abs and I wanted them too but didn't know how.
'Then I did my research and found out that you have to cut back on carbs while doing sit ups. You can't do one and not the other. So I got to work.'
Turns out she did not have a problem scaling back on carbs.
'I don't love bread but I don't hate it either, so I still eat it but not as much. If I have a sandwich I take the top off and just have the bottom bread piece. If I have pasta, I have less noodles and add meat and a lot of veggies. If I have rice I just half the portion on my plate.'
As far as the sit ups, she does them every day.
'I do go to the gym every single day not just to look fit but to feel good. Everyone has a lot of frustrations every day of their life - taxes, traffic, work stress. And everyone needs a place to unwind. For me that is the gym. I sweat out my frustrations and feel better after.
'So I do three sets of sit ups, but I also use machines where I work my tummy by doing legs lifts, it all helps.'
And then there is another trick.
'Before I go to bed I stretch for 20 minutes and I add another 30 sit ups, just because I really want those abs, why not? I know I already go to the gym in the morning, but this extra workout at night is really the game changer I think.
'I feel like those extra 20 minutes of working out before I go to bed really does the trick. It does not take long and I do them in front of the TV as I watch crime shows - I love all kinds of crime shows.
'The more you do sit ups the less they hurt. Sure in the beginning it hurts like heck, it is painful, but that pain subsides as your muscles grow.'
Now she is happy with her look.
'I love looking toned, it is the best feeling, and I am happy I have the time to work on my body, I am lucky that way. I know some people work two jobs and can't fit in time at the gym,' noted the Washington state native.
'For those people, I say I feel your pain, but if you can carve out time for a 20 minute walk by yourself or stretch while watching TV you will feel better. It's more for your health than your looks. Everyone feels better when they move their body.'
She added, 'I recently read about a woman who didn't want to go to the gym because she was self conscious and she hated all those type A gym people. So she walked around her coffee table in her living room every morning for an hour while watching TV or playing music. She lost like 50lbs!
'It's crazy to think you can lose weight that way but I guess it all comes down to keeping moving. As they say, motion is lotion.'
The Breaking The Mold author looked like she was auditioning for the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition as she posed away in the sand.
The star wore a bra and panties that highlighted her toned tummy and sculpted legs.
The college graduate wore her thick chocolate brown hair down as she had on light makeup.
Blanco was born and raised in Watsonville, California, along with two sisters and two brothers, by Mexican immigrant parents who worked multiple jobs to support them.
At the age of nine, her family relocated to Chelan, Washington, where she began taking acting and singing classes and organizing theatre performances in between her studies.
After high school, Blanca graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and from Eastern Washington University with a Master of Social Work. She then relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting.
Her first major role was in the 2008 feature film Dark Reel (2008) opposite Edward Furlong.
Notable on screen credits include Bullet (2014) opposite Danny Trejo, Anatomy of Deception (2014), Crimes of the Mind (2014), Defending Santa (2013) (ION), and Bermuda Tentacles (2014) (Syfy). Her films Teen Star Academy (2017), 6 Children & 1 Grandfather (2018), and Mission Possible (2018) each premiered at Cannes Film Festival in 2016, 2017, and 2018 respectively.
Recently released films include Fake News (2017), Betrayed (2018), and Torch (2021). In 2018, she began filming The Dog of Christmas (2021).
The beauty's early years were tough as she had to suffer physical abuse from her father and also live a life of poverty in Washington state that saw her reside in a garage for years.
She detailed those tough days in her book Breaking The Mold.
'I wrote BREAKING THE MOLD during the COVID lockdown, as I felt my story could help others because poverty and abuse has been increasing. I will take you on my journey from poverty to success and how I made it happen,' the Mission: Possible actress told DailyMail.com.
'I share and provide tools and techniques that worked for me,' she said about her book which came out from Briton Publishing.
The Cannes Film Festival favorite added, 'My book is an autobiography and I share about childhood poverty, abuse, and how I overcame it. I feel it will motivate readers if they are caught in a bad situation.'
She was isolated during her painful youthful, never having the support system she really needed, especially at school.
'I never told my classmates about our poverty, living in a garage, because I wanted to be treated just like them - a normal kid! No one knew, not even the teachers.'
She also shared an excerpt with DailyMail.com about the abuse she endured. 'It happened when we were living in Mexico as children but the abuse continued throughout the years.'
Her father was not loving, she said, and instead he was an 'abusive father and husband.'
'He used to beat us and used a “Chicote” a type of switch or whip used to control horses to beat us with,' she shared.
'He even held his gun to our mother’s head and threatened to shoot her right in front of us. We were all scared of him, especially our mother. We were all crying and trying to protect our mother who he had pushed into the bed and we were surrounding her and begging him not to shoot.
'His rage and uncontrolled anger was all because she was asking him to give her money to buy us food when he suddenly snapped.
'This continued even when we were older. He went to attack me when our mother was dying but that time I squared up to him and dared him to touch me. Now I was older and not afraid of him any more. He backed down, shocked that I challenged him!'
Blanco was born in Watsonville, California.
At three-years old, her family moved to Southwest Mexico.
Her father was a police officer there and was shot twice forcing the family to return to the U.S., to, hopefully, live the American Dream. Blanca was nine-years-old.
Her family of seven lived in poverty for her entire childhood, residing in a small garage with no hot water, no shower and no heat while facing the frigid winters of Washington State.
They then moved into a tiny trailer in a small trailer park, often with unsafe water causing sickness.
She attended Chelan High School where she became determined not to remain in poverty.
Upon leaving school she became the school’s role model for younger graduating students and made a motivational video to help them.
With the help of her guardian angel, a teacher who cared, she said, she achieved 'full ride scholarships enabling her to continue on to college then to university.'
She became the first Latina woman in the area to go to college working hard in order to graduate and continue her full ride scholarships, where she took an associate of science degree from Spokane Falls Community College.
She then went on to Washington State University achieving a 4.0 grade average and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology followed by master’s degree in social work from Eastern Washington State University.
Her first job after receiving her Master’s in Social Work degree was working in hospice care. Deciding to follow her dreams, she moved to Los Angeles where she became an actress and studied under Gordon Hunt (Helen Hunt’s father).
She immediately landed many roles in film and television. The star achieved a Best Supporting Actress award for her role as Melanie in the movie Betrayed.
The foreword is by Edward I. Byrnes, Ph.D. Professor of Social Work – Eastern Washington University.
