Mark Wahlberg, 51, shows off his muscular physique as he and his family relax on a yacht in Barbados

Mark Wahlberg looked in fighting form as he welcomed the New Year on a luxury yacht in Barbados with wife  Rhea Durham and their kids.

The Fighter star, 51 - who has been enjoying a sunny getaway to the Caribbean destination since earlier this month - showed off his muscular physique in a pair of light green swim shorts and later shared a kiss with his other half, 44.

The two-time Oscar nominee and his family escaped the cold temperatures plaguing much of the US for the island holiday.

The island nation is famous for its crystal clear water, gorgeous hiking trails, golfing, high end shopping and luxury resorts.

The Father Stu star was joined on the restful getaway by Durham and their children, Ella, 19, Michael, 16, Brendan, 14, and Grace, 12.

Rhea, a former model, showed off her trim figure in a flattering black and white polka dot one-piece swimsuit.

She wore her long, dark locks down as she went snorkeling with her youngest daughter, who looked cute in a blue bikini with her hair styled in braids.

Mark demonstrated his athletic prowess, diving into the blue ocean and swimming to shore, striking a triumphant pose by throwing his arms in the air as he approached the shore.

The couple, who have been married since 2009 were spotted canoodling on the chaise lounges aboard the boat.

The were later seen sharing a hug as they dried off with pink towels from the resort.

The actor is now headquartered in Nevada, where they moved after spending years in California.

They put their mansion, which boasts 12 bedrooms and 20 bathroom, up for sale in the spring.

The property included a home theater, a wine cellar, and a separate guest house, plus a golf course, a skate park, and a tennis court.

In October, the hunky actor told hosts on The Talk he did it to give the kids a better life.

'I want to be able to work from home,' he explained.

'I moved to California many years ago to pursue acting and I've only made a couple of movies  (in the state) in the entire time that I was there, so, to be able to give my kids a better life and follow and pursue their dreams, whether it be my daughter as an equestrian, my son as a basketball player, my younger son as a golfer, this made a lot more sense for us.'

The successful producer has also purchased a two-point-five acre property and explained in an interview with Lights, Camera, Vegas he hopes to establish a studio to create a 'Hollywood 2.0' in the desert town.

The busy actor current has five projects in the pipeline, including The Six Billion Dollar Man, based on the 70s TV series about an injured astronaut who becomes a superhero after receiving realistic robotic replacement limbs.
