MAFS brides play footy at the couples' retreat in unseen moment

The MAFS brides took a break from their husbands to enjoy a game of footy and a catch-up during the couples' retreat, which was filmed in Bargo back in October.

Melinda Willis, Alyssa Barmonde and Tayla Winter couldn't wipe the smiles off their faces as they threw the football around the tennis court.

The three women rocked casual ensembles for their light-hearted bonding session.

Melinda, 32, opted for a figure-hugging black crop top and matching pants, which showcased her trim figure.

Tayla, 27, donned a similar activewear look while Alyssa, 35, went for a maroon mini dress with an unbuttoned checkered jacket.

At one point, Melinda grabbed the football and kicked it to her pals, who swiftly returned it.

The trio laughed it up as they enjoyed a sporty day out together.

The MAFS cast headed off to Bargo, in the Wollondilly Shire, for a group getaway after reaching the halfway point in the experiment.

While some partnerships grew stronger, others were pushed to the limit as wild accusations and judgements were thrown about.

The main drama at the retreat centred on Harrison Boon and Bronte Schofield going head-to-head with the other couples.

Bronte broke down in tears on Monday's episode after the other brides said she was being 'manipulated' by her 'gaslighter' husband - but she didn't want to believe it.

Married At First Sight continues Tuesday at 7:30pm on Channel Nine and 9Now
