Missing mum Nicola Bulley was captured on camera as she made her last fateful school run before she disappeared.

Images taken from the a doorbell camera show her getting ready to set off on the 3.8 mile journey from her home.

Dressed in her walking boots, and hooded raincoat, she is seen opening the boot of the family car as her dog Willow gets in the back.

She then drove around 10 minutes from her home in Inskip to drop her two children at school in St Michael's on Wyre in Lancashire. She was last seen around 8.43am on Friday January 27 before she went missing near the River Wyre.

Hundreds of volunteers joined the search for the mum-of-two today as police scoured a riverbank. Police believe she may have fallen into the water while out walking her dog.

A woman seen wearing a yellow coat and pushing a pram on the day Nicola went missing has now come forward.

The key witness was walking on Garstang Road and Blackpool Lane on Friday January 27.

Nicola was last seen walking with Willow near the River Wyre after dropping her two children off at primary school.

Dad-of-two Mike Joyce, 47, brought his family from their home in Thornton-Cleveleys today to join the search.

He said: "We just wanted to do our bit for the community to help. We don't know Nicola and have no connection to the village. But it's terrible what has happened.

"I just feel so sorry for her family and can't imagine what they are going through.

"I hope she is found soon."

Mum-of-two Clare Brown, 36, had come from Blackpool to help in the search. She said: "It must be agonising for the family not knowing. I just wanted to do my bit so that the family knows that they are not alone.

"I just pray they can find her soon."

People lined the roads yesterday, holding signs with photos of Nicola, 45, and appeals for dashcam footage. Volunteers gathered at St Michael's on Wyre tennis club, where they received a form to become part of the search party.

Heather Gibbons, 33, a family friend, has been helping to organise the group of mothers, searching 10 sections of the River Wyre.

"We've had a great response from the public," she said. "Nicola's case resonates with people, especially if you're a mum with children yourself. We've had mums come from Windermere, Cumbria, Stoke-on-Trent, all wanting to help."

Grandmother Ann Forrest, 72, of Fleetwood, Lancs, said: "I have been up and down the riverbanks a few times with my binoculars.

"I just wanted to do my bit to help.

"The family must be going through hell.

"It's a real mystery what's happened to her."

Businessman James Hill, 63, of Blackpool, said: "I gave up my normal Sunday walk to come here.

"As a fellow dog walker, her disappearance has really resonated with me.

"Life can change in an instant.

"I just hope she can be found."
