Bernard Tomic has issued a bizarre public apology to his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Sierra after the OnlyFans star reported him to police amid their escalating public breakup.
The Love Island Australia star posted a video of Tomic snapping her laptop while on holiday together in Croatia.
The footage showed Tomic in the midst of a tantrum, while a visibly-worried Sierra watched on as the former world number 17 used his knees to break the MacBook in half.
'Shouldn't have broken her stuff I don't know what came over me,' he wrote on his Instagram story alongside a photo of himself and Sierra.
'My ego too big but I'm going to drop it for you. So sorry wife. Please let's make things right. Love you.'
Police in Split, a coastal tourist town in Croatia, have since confirmed they are investigating the incident.
'We received a report from the woman who claimed her belongings had been destroyed,' Split Police spokesman Jerko Kurevija told News Corp Australia.
Shortly after news of the police investigation broke, Tomic apologised for his actions and pleaded with Sierra to make up.
The bizarre video came four days after she shared a now-deleted Instagram post showing two broken computers and claiming she was locked out of her $500,000 cryptocurrency portfolio.
The clip also showed three concerning scratches on her arm. She has since clarified Tomic has never laid a hand on her.
'Ah, there we go,' he's heard saying.
Sierra, replies: 'Break it, break it all you want.'
She hinted at trouble in paradise as she shared the footage to her public Instagram account, which has 429,000 followers.
'Don't mess with a tennis player's ego. To replace the 16k worth of damages from his little tantrum. I'm leaking a private tape to my OnlyFans. Not sorry,' Sierra captioned the footage.
Tomic appeared to make light of the situation when bragging about his net worth after the video was made public.
'@Vanessa5ierra thinks leaking our tapes on her OnlyFans is going to affect me. Hold up let me re-count my millions,' Tomic wrote on Instagram.
She later addressed viewers' concerns about her wellbeing after the tantrum and the earlier video with the cuts on her arm.
'For everyone asking I AM OK. I gave myself time to take care of my mental health before posting anything. The material items are replaceable,' she wrote.
'Just to clarify he didn't and has never laid hands on me.'
When a fan commented suggesting the video was a stunt or she wouldn't be directing people to her 'other account', Sierra replied: 'The video is right here.'
She also posted the video to her private account.
'Here it is guys as promised. I was upset with him for not checking on me when I was hospitalised. Argument escalated to him ruining my livelihood,' she wrote.
An earlier, now-deleted Instagram video by Sierra first hinted at a possible break-up with Tomic, showing the smashed laptops and three scratches on her arm.
'$16,000 worth of damage. Currently can't work and half a mil in crypto is locked,' she captioned it.
'I'll give $100 for the first person who can guess what happened.'
Hours later, the brunette beauty posted cryptic clues suggesting she may have broken up with Tomic.
'I've always (been) real and raw with you guys about my life, both my ups and downs despite potential judgment,' she wrote.
'And you have always been incredibly supportive and my rocks. I'll speak to you all when I'm ready.'
She also posted a photo with the caption 'fool me twice' with a broken heart emoji.
The drama between Tomic and Sierra was capitalised on by her disgraced Youtube prankster ex-boyfriend, Luke Erwin.
Erwin, 27, uploaded a clip to TikTok hours after Sierra shared alarming the of Tomic's tantrum.
'And everyone thought my and Vanessa's relationship was crazy,' Erwin said in the video.
'I heard there is some crazy amateur tennis player trying to take down all the laptops.
'I've got you. I'll save you!,' he added before picking up a stack of laptops before running out of the room.
Meanwhile, Sierra settled her feud with comedian Dave Hughes after he claimed on 2Day FM on Monday she had told him she was no longer dating Tomic.
She later claimed she'd said no such thing and that her conversation with Hughes about Tomic - which took place over Instagram DMs - had been 'off the record'.
Settling their disagreement, Sierra said on Instagram Stories: 'I just want to clarify there is absolutely zero beef - and never was - between Hughesy and I. He's a good person. It was a misunderstanding.
She added: 'He's human. People make mistakes. And we've sorted it out between us.
'We are friends. So people don't send him hate [on social media].'
Hughes had tried to draw a line under his feud with Sierra on Tuesday, after he angered the model earlier in the week by 'confirming' her split from the former world No. 17.
While he didn't fully retract his claims, Hughes acknowledged on 2Day FM's The Morning Crew he'd gone too far by saying the couple were no longer together - noting how the Love Island star had told him their conversation was 'off the record'.
'I never said that they'd broken up,' Hughes said. 'I said that she had sent me some DMs. I didn't say what she said in the DMs.'
He continued: 'I definitely shouldn't have said 'it's fair to say they have broken up'. I shouldn't have said that… and I apologise to you now, Vanessa.
'I hope that we can build a bridge… so that we can be friends again.'
Last week, Tomic found out he did not qualify for the French Open.
