Bec Hewitt has hinted that she could be eyeing a return to her old stomping ground of Home and Away.
The former soap actress revealed on Saturday that she has gotten comfortable in front of the camera again after a long hiatus, thanks to her stint on Channel Seven's all-stars reboot of Dancing With The Stars.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, the actress, 37, said: 'It was really fun being back in the front of the camera and I'm feeling more and more comfortable as the weeks go on. It did feel really foreign at first.
'I've been quite happy doing the mum thing and running the kids around. It was such a big part of my life growing up so it's giving myself permission to enjoy it.'
She added that 'returning to the workforce' was not out of the question, as she realised she could juggle a gig and a family.
'I think it's like going back into any job in the workforce no matter what you do, if you've been mum, it's a bigger deal after being out of it for a while. But can we do it – yes we can. We absolutely can,' she said.
Bec played Hayley Smith Lawson on the long-running soap opera from 1998 to 2005.
She left the show after marrying tennis champion Lleyton Hewitt, 40, that same year.
The couple, who fell in love in a whirlwind romance, have three children together - Mia, 15, Cruz, 12, and Ava, 10.
Bec thrilled fans in March when returned to Summer Bay for a set visit in between rehearsals for Dancing with the Stars.
Actor Lincoln Lewis documented the reunion on Instagram, as the pair spent time with current stars Ada Nicodemou and Luke Jacobz at the show's famous diner.
Channel Seven is using the same Sydney location to film Home and Away's interior scenes and the new season of Dancing with the Stars.
