With a 3-0 win over the Blackhawks on Tuesday night, the Hurricanes have now won nine straight game -- and not lost a game in regulation since Nov. 23. As a result, Carolina has surged to first place in the Metropolitan Division.
Throughout this incredible run, Carolina has gotten contributions from all four lines, and it boasts one of the deepest blue lines in the league. The cherry on top is that rookie netminder Petr Kochetkov has emerged as the team's future in goal.
