In nonleague action, senior forward Josh Campbell dropped a career-high 44 points with 11 rebounds as Archbishop Williams (10-0) upended Weymouth 97-84.
Tyler Staiti (27 points) and Connor Pease (19 points,11 rebounds and five blocks) led the way as Abington defeated South Shore League opponent Mashpee 64-42.

Kathleen Murphy collected 15 points and 10 boards for Blue Hills (7-1) in a 41-28 win over nonleague opponent Randolph. … Ava Orlando eclipsed 1000 points behind a 26 point effort as Notre Dame (H) fell to Cardinal Spellman, 54-48. Ava joins Kate Kelley and Sally Hamel in the 1000 point club for the cougars.
In the Mayflower Athletic Conference, Jenella Jacobs had 21 points as West Bridgewater defeated Avon 45-18.
BOYS HOCKEY
In a nonleague matchup, Ryan Melanson recorded 39 saves to lift St. John’s (S) to a 2-1 win over BC High. … Anthony Patete finished with four goals and an assist as West/East Bridgewater defeated Stoughton/Brockton, 7-2.
GIRLS HOCKEY
Jenna Chaplain scored twice as St. Mary’s of Lynn took down nonleague opponent Newburyport 4-1. … Maggie Lynch (200 career points) and Grace Mottau each netted a hat trick as Archbishop Williams (8-0-1) blanked Weymouth 10-0.
