BOYS BASKETBALL
Senior forward Mike O’Brien collected 24 points and 12 boards for St. John’s Prep in an 80-70 nonleague win over North Quincy. … Marvin Avery Jr. turned in a 24-point performance, as Lynn Classical held on for a 69-62 victory over Swampscott. … Luke Perry dropped 15 points, while Noah Perry-Lewis (10 points, seven assists) added a spark as Bridgewater-Raynham (3-8) recorded a 49-46 victory over Brookline.
Senior Andrew Boulas poured in a team-high 27 points, pacing North Reading (6-3) to a 67-44 victory over Hamilton-Wenham in the Cape Ann League.

In a Cape Ann League contest, senior Alyssa Thompson dropped 22 points for Pentucket in a 54-31 win over Ipswich. … Faith Newton collected 16 points and 11 boards for North Reading (7-3) in a 43-27 win over Hamilton-Wenham.
At the Rose Classic Tournament, Oluchi Okanawa registered 30 points and 14 rebounds to earn MVP and lift Worcester Academy to an 81-74 win over Putnam.

Noah Kearney notched a pair of goals and added two assists, as North Quincy rolled to a 7-3 victory over Stoughton/Brockton in a nonleague contest. … Joe Culley sniped two goals and dished out an assist, helping to power Whitman-Hanson during a 5-4 victory over Nashoba.
GIRLS HOCKEY
In a Patriot League contest, Jen Birolini sniped a goal, eclipsing 100 points for her career as Pembroke defeated Quincy/North Quincy 7-0. She became the seventh player in program history to reach the mark.
Kaitlyn Bush, Shelby Nassar, Mia Kmiec all scored as HPNA defeated Lincoln-Sudbury, 3-1.
Julia McNeely (hat trick) and Lucy Clark (goal, two assists) provided a boost offensively, as Melrose defeated Concord-Carlisle, 4-3, in a nonleague game.
