BOYS BASKETBALL

Eli Ifrah knocked down 15 points, while Max Jacobson and Andy Weeman scattered 12 points each to pace Westwood (10-7) in a 55-44 Tri-Valley League win over Medfield. … Luke Rinaldi was unstoppable, racking up 33 points as Dover-Sherborn held on for a critical 73-69 victory over Dover-Sherborn.

Trevor Mullin buried 30 points, and AJ Dybantsa struck for 29 points, guiding St. Sebastian’s (18-0) in an 88-77 Independent School League win over Rivers.

Giovanni Jean (25 points, seven assists), Ederick Gonzalez (11 points, 12 rebounds), and Jayden Welch (16 points, seven rebounds) set the tone for Lynn Tech (13-3) in a 71-52 Commonwealth Athletic Conference victory over Mystic Valley.

Peter Gellene paced the scoring with a 24-point outing, as Catholic Memorial (15-2) captured the Catholic Conference title outright with a 71-62 victory over rival BC High.

Liam McBride (25 points, 12 rebounds) recorded a double-double, setting a new program scoring record for Hingham during an important 68-59 win over Patriot League foe Whitman-Hanson. … Senior guard Zach Taylor erupted for 29 points, as North Quincy (12-4) embarked on a 29-2 run in the second half to pull away for 57-41 victory over Pembroke. … Nick Marcel shouldered things offensively, draining 24 points for Plymouth North during a wild 51-50 victory over Duxbury. … Jimmy Tolton carried the attack with a 25-point outburst, and Kyle Mullen added a double-double (17 points, 10 rebounds) as Scituate (12-4) knocked off Quincy in an 87-57 romp. … James Molloy had a 23-point night, as Marshfield (10-4) defeated Silver Lake, 60-49.

In the Hockomock League, Caden Mirliani netted 15 points, including the go-ahead triple, to steer Canton to a 46-43 win over Sharon.

Liza Minogue recorded 13 points in her return from injury, and Abby Chewning tacked on 12 points as Covenant Christian pulled away for a 38-26 Independent Girls Conference win over Brimmer and May.
