Somebody I Used To Know trailer features director Dave Franco and his wife Alison Brie

Amazon Prime Video has released the first trailer for the new film from writer-director Dave Franco, Somebody I Used To Know, starring his wife Alison Brie, with both Franco and Brie also writing the script and executive producing.

Brie - who most recently starred in Spin Me Round with Aubrey Plaza - stars as Ally, who returns to her hometown 10 years after leaving and reunites with her ex Sean (Jay Ellis).

She soon realizes, though, that Sean is about to be married to Cassidy (Kiersey Clemons), who starts to remind her of herself at that age.

The trailer begins with Ally enjoying a drink at a bar in her hometown, though she slinks in her seat when Sean walks in, though he notices her anyway.

He asks what she's doing here and she says she's, 'just visiting my old haunts on the off chance I might run into an ex from 10 years ago.

'How many have you run into so far?' Sean asks, which brings a smile to her face.

Sean and Ally are seen hanging out together as she eats a massive pretzel before heading out on the town.

While enjoying some quiet time overlooking a lake, Sean says he still thinks, 'about what would have happened if you hadn't left all those years ago.'

'I've been kinda wondering the same thing recently,' Ally admits as they're seen kissing in a car, as she adds, 'Like maybe if I made the wrong decision.'

Ally and Sean are seen talking on the porch of Sean's parents' house, as she tells him, 'I haven't felt that free in... I don't know how long.'

They are interrupted by Sean's mother Jojo (Olga Merediz) as they're all seen at a dinner party... which Jojo reveals is for the bride and groom - Sean and Cassidy.

Ally seems quite taken aback with the news, later telling Benny (Danny Pudi), 'I need to see this through, whatever it is,' as Benny adds, 'You mean, like with you and the groom?'

'I mean... we can just call him Sean,' Ally adds, while another scene shows Ally telling Cassidy that if her being there is making her uncomfortable she'll leave.

Cassidy tells her, 'No no, it wouldn't be very cool of me to kick out one of Sean's oldest friends.'

Benny tells Ally, 'I told you she was cool,' as Ally says, 'She actually reminds me a lot of me at that age.'

Later Ally and Cassidy are talking alone and Cassidy asks, 'Weren't you like a nudist?' Ally admits, 'I was,' and Cassidy says she has an idea.

They both start streaking through the golf course, where a young boy discovers and starts chasing after them, much to the dismay of his father.

'Bradley Pitt Campbell, do not chase the naked ladies!' the father screams while running after his son.

Later Benny tells Ally, 'this has gone way too far,' and Ally admits, 'I don't know what to do anymore,' as she's seen potentially getting romantically involved with both Sean and Cassidy, as the trailer comes to an end.

The film also stars Haley Joel Osment, Julie Hagerty, Sam Richardson and Amy Sedaris, debuting on Amazon Prime Video on February 10.
