After more than five years together, Professional Golf Association (PGA) tour golfer Brooks Koepka is tying the knot with actress Jena Sims.

Both Koepka, 30, and Sims, 32, took to Instagram to announce their engagement on Thursday, although the engagement actually happened nearly a month earlier on March 3.

Sims shared a slew of pics of the moment on Instagram, where Koepka dropped to one knee on a sandy beach in Florida, and she said yes.

'Forever is no joke,' Sims said in the caption of her pics, with a double-heart emoji next to it.

The golfer was wearing a white Givenchy t-shirt, black pants and white sneaks when he dropped to one knee, while Sims was wearing a light purple mini-dress and white Nike sneakers.

Other photos in their Instagram post showed the couple toasting the engagement with friends.

Koepka shared her post on his Instagram story, which he captioned, 'Finally...' along with another one of Sims' Instagram story posts.

The Instagram story post showed the couple happily embracing, which Sims captioned, '3/3/21 Best day of my life @bkoepka.'

The couple first met in 2015 at the Masters tournament in Augusta, Georgia, which Sims told Golf Digest in 2019 was fitting because she is a Georgia native.

'We met at the 2015 Masters. And that’s so special because I’m from Georgia, so it’s perfect,' she began.

'We were on Hole 7, which I don’t even remember, but he’s like, "Oh, I remember what you were wearing, where we were standing, everything."'

She added, 'It was cool. We hadn’t dated since then. We were just friends at that point.'

Koepka is currently the 12th ranked golfer in the world, though he was ranked #1 for a 47-week stretch back in 2018.

He has 8 PGA Tour wins, including the 2019 Masters, 2018 and 2019 PGA Championship and 2017 and 2018 U.S. Open.

Sims is an actress who has starred in several of the Sharknado movies along with Kill the Messenger starring Jeremy Renner, to name a few.
