Lori Loughlin's daughters Isabella Rose and Olivia Jade wished their mother a happy Mother’s Day on Sunday.
Olivia Jade, 21, wrote 'You are the best. period,' in an Instagram post with an older photo of the Full House actress, 56, who was released from prison late last year following her guilty plea to federal authorities in the college admissions scandal.
Isabella Rose, 22, posted a shot of multiple camera stills of her mom, writing in the caption, 'Mama bear.'
Sunday marks Loughlin's first Mother's Day in two years with the scandal behind her, as she was released from custody from a federal prison in Dublin, California last December after entering the facility almost two months before in October.
Family patriarch fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, 57, concluded his sentence last month in connection with the scandal, after he entered custody in Lompoc, California last November.
The show business couple was initially arrested in March 2019. In May of 2020, both pleaded guilty in connection with conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
The pair admit they paid admissions fixer Rick Singer $500,000 to arrange for the University of Southern California to recruit Isabella Rose and Olivia Jade onto the school's rowing team, despite that they had no background in the sport.
In agreement with their plea deals, Loughlin agreed to pay fines of $150,000 and complete 100 hours of community service, while Giannulli had fines of $250,000, with 250 hours of community service and two years of probation.
'Lori is a wonderful wife, mother and friend,' a source last month told People. 'She and Mossimo made huge mistakes. They have taken responsibility for them and just want to start fresh now.'
Both were 'both beyond relieved to have completed their prison sentences,' adding, 'Mossimo has to finish his community service, but then he can really move on.'
The insider said that 'Mossimo can't wait to play golf' and the pair 'are also hoping to take a trip later this year,' while Loughlin has a Hollywood comeback in mind.
'Lori still hopes she can get back to acting at some point,' the source said.
