Lori Loughlin is pictured enjoying her first vacation abroad since serving jail time in connection to the Varsity Blues scandal.

Wearing a white patterned coverup and straw visor, the 56-year-old actress enjoyed time poolside at a luxury resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with husband Mossimo Giannulli - who also served jail time for his part in the college bribery scheme.

The couple were seen chatting with pals, downing shots and playing golf, after they were granted permission to take a five day trip this month, during their probation, after completion of their sentences and paying their court-ordered fines.

Loughlin sat on a plush sunbed wearing some reflective sunglasses, every now and again checking out the ocean view with her binoculars.

Her fashion designer husband of 24 years was seen wearing some swim shorts and took a refreshing dip in the pool before strolling around the complex and chatting with friends.

Giannulli, 58, showed off a thick grey beard, with the rest of his hair shaved off, something he did ahead of his five-month prison sentence at Federal Correctional Institution Lompoc.

Later on, the father-of-three was feeling festive as he joined some friends on a terrace and was seen downing shots.

He also enjoyed more guy time with a round of gold at a nearby green.

It appeared his friends were happy to have him back in the fold as one pal lifted Giannulli off the ground in a bear hug.

It's not the couple's first vacation after their jail time as in April they took a trip to an exclusive country club in La Quinta, California after Mossimo's release from prison.

After a judge recently ruled that she was allowed to travel to Mexico this month, Loughlin was said to be 'excited' to finally be taking the trip.

According to People, a source close to Lori and her husband said 'they were excited about the trip,' and noted that the couple 'flew to Cabo [San Lucas] with friends' and that 'it [was] their first trip in a long time.'

The Full House actress, who has become infamous for her role in the college admissions scandal, was previously unable to travel due to her prison sentence and ensuing community service commitments stemming from her involvement in the 2019 case.

But earlier this month, Loughlin and her husband Giannulli, 58, were granted permission by a judge to travel to Los Cabos for a summer vacation.

Because Loughlin and Giannulli are both under supervised release after emerging from prison over their part in the scandal, they had to ask permission to travel.

Late in May, a judge officially decreed that they could holiday to San Jose Del Cabo from June 16 to June 21 with their family, TMZ reported.

Part of Loughlin's argument for being permitted to travel was that she has done her required community service and forked over the $150,000 fine she owed.

Meanwhile, Giannulli argued that his community service was in progress and that his $250,000 fine had also been paid.

The actress succeeded this February in getting her passport returned - after having had to surrender it in 2019 amid her legal troubles.

She spent two months in federal prison at CI Dublin in California before being released in December just before New Year's.

Meanwhile Giannulli had to spend five months in prison for his role in the bribery scheme and was ultimately released in early April.

It emerged in 2019 that the wealthy couple had paid bribes to get their daughters, Olivia and Isabella, into the University Of Southern California.

The actress and her fashion designer husband paid $500,000 to falsely pass the girls off as potential college rowers on USC's rowing team.

Although they initially claimed to be innocent, Giannulli pled guilty last May to conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud and honest services and mail fraud, while Loughlin pled guilty to conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud.
