Jason Aldean was mercilessly mocked on social media after his wife shared a photo of Donald Trump giving her a forehead kiss at a New Year's Eve bash.
After ringing in 2023 with the former president, 76, and Melania Trump, 52, the Dirt Road Anthem hitmaker, 45, was trolled for his spouse's Instagram post, featuring them dining and dancing at Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida.
While Brittany, 33, described the party as a 'fairy-tale ending to 2022' in her caption, many were quick to call out her spouse's 'p**sed and surprised' expression as Trump planted a kiss on the top of her head.
In the eyebrow-raising snap, Trump held onto Brittany's shoulders and 'got a good long look down' her chest, according to one commenter.
'@Jason_Aldean. How’d you feel about this? Your expression says a lot. Trump got a nice view though,' one Instagram user wrote under the post.
Another commented: 'Aldean’s expression is hilarious. It’s a cross between displeasure and anger. Trump would screw ole Jason over in a heartbeat but there he is. What a cluck.'
One of her 2.4 million Instagram followers warned that Jason looked 'like he might be questioning that forehead kiss.'
Another snarkily remarked that they might be headed to a 'divorce in 2023.'
Despite many speculating that the country singer appeared displeased by the forehead kiss, there seemed to be no animosity or tension between the men.
Later in the night, Aldean performed at Trump's lavish party and was introduced by the politician as the 'number one singer in the world and in the country' to the crowd at his party.
'He's got to be making a fortune and his wife is Brittany and she is right here. And she's a beautiful woman and she is MAGA all the way. MAGA all the way,' Trump said in a video recorded at the party, which became viral over the weekend.
As he walked on stage, Aldean raved: 'Well, that's probably the best introduction I've ever had.'
After the event, the two-time Billboard Music Award winner, 44, took to Instagram to share snaps of himself, wife and Trump - whom Aldean called the 'greatest of all time' - with his 3.5 million followers.
'Well, this [New Year's] was the best of all time. I got to spend a couple days with the G.O.A.T…… this man is unbelievable and I wish u all could see what he does behind the scenes. #classact,' Aldean posted on Instagram along with pictures of him and Trump playing golf.
Aldean and his wife had previously shown their support for Trump, sporting 'Anti Biden Social Club' t-shirts and defending their 'unapologetic' beliefs. During a concert in November, Aldean was serenaded with chants of 'F*** Joe Biden ,' which the singer seemed to applaud by replying 'You said it' to the crowd.
