It was the year that split the game of golf in two - and Netflix have it all on camera.
This month, the docuseries Full Swing will be aired to viewers, offering a devastating insight into the civil war which erupted between the PGA Tour and the Saudi-backed LIV Golf venture. The trailer has already been released, with one high-profile defector, Ian Poulter, aptly saying: You picked a hell of a year to start following the PGA Tour."
The stars that will feature strongly include Poulter himself and Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Brooks Koepka, Scottie Scheffler, Dustin Johnson, Tony Finau, Matt Fitzpatrick, Sahith Theegala, Joel Dahmen, Mito Pereira and Cameron Young. And bosses will be confident that given the intrigue around the LIV saga, the series will replicate the success of the F1 equivalent, Drive to Survive.
When is Full Swing released?
The series will premiere on Wednesday, February 15, just over six weeks before the first major of the year, the US Masters, gets underway. It will last around 49 minutes, and reveal how best friends Spieth and Thomas become fierce rivals as they grew to prominence on the PGA Tour.
What time will the first episode be shown?
Netflix bosses are yet to confirm the actual time that the first episode will be available to subscribers. But we do know that episode lengths will vary, with the durations between 42 minutes and 49.
How many episodes will be shown?
Eight episodes will be releases to viewers, and each of them look enticing. The second documentary focuses on Koepka, and his slump in form after seemingly being destined for greatness. The rise of Scheffler is also covered.
Episode three is where the sport's civil war really comes into the frame, with Poulter trying to justify his big money move. That's followed by coverage of the self-deprecating Dahmen, who feels an 'imposter' on the PGA Tour.
Episode five covers Johnson's decision to join LIV and cut ties with the PGA Tour, as well as Fizpatrick's US Open triumph. The sixth looks into the lives of Finau and Morikawa, who both got into golf after being inspired by Woods.
The penultimate episode looks at the struggles of PGA Tour rookies Theegala and Pereira, while the finale fittingly features McIlroy. His disdain for LIV Golf is emphasised, with the star taking brutal digs at Phil Mickleson and Patrick Reed.
