Chelsea Handler takes over The Daily Show and launches furious takedown of Marjorie Taylor Greene

Comedian Chelsea Handler appeared on The Daily Show to poke fun at 'moron' Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene for complaining her job is miserable because it's 'year round' with no days off.

Handler, 47, slammed Greene on Monday for claiming last week on a podcast that 'becoming a member of Congress has made [her] life miserable.'

The comedian didn't take Greene's nagging lightly and claimed it was her job to work around the clock as a lawmaker while famously quoting Kim Kardashian: 'Get your f****** a** up and work!'

'First of all, you’re not a "regular person," you moron,' Handler said. 'You’re a congressperson because you campaigned and somehow won, which requires you to work year-round.'

Handler added she prefers to have time off - which is why she doesn't run for office herself.

Greene appeared on journalist Glenn Greenwald's podcast on February 1 to dish on your life in Congress, the long hours, and the low pay.

'I've lost money since I've gotten here,' Green added. 'It's not a life that I think is like something that I enjoy because I don't enjoy it, but I'm committed to this job because I believe in it.'

While it is unclear how much money Greene previously made as the owner of a CrossFit gym in Georgia, records show she makes about $174,000 as a representative.

Greene complained about the lack of time she spent with her family due to her 'demanding' duties.

'The nature of this job, it keeps members of Congress and senators in Washington so much of the time, too much of the time to be honest with you,' she said.

Meanwhile, Handler combated Greene's complaints telling her to find another job if she was so unhappy.

'The point is, if you don't like being in congress then go work at Footlocker, b****.'

Greene, who was dubbed as a conspiracy theorist, was also poked at for opening up to various people approaching her on the streets because of information they 'read on the internet.'

'Well, if that is not the pot calling the kettle QAnnon,' Handler joked.

'This woman thought 9/11 was a hoax, that the Clintons killed JFK, and that the Jews are in charge of space lasers. Please, don’t come at her with some crazy ideas - she might believe them.'

Last month, it was revealed the second-term lawmaker is seeking to run alongside Trump as he seeks to reclaim the White House four years after refusing to concede, skipping the inauguration claiming fraud, and telling supporters to 'fight like hell' the day of the Capitol riot, NBC reported.

She previously apologized in June for comparing Capitol mask mandates to The Holocaust. The following month, she cemented ties with Trump during a visit to his Bedminster golf course for the Saudi-funded LIV Golf tournament.
