Aaron Rodgers let it be known he has heard the Las Vegas Raiders fans pushing him to join the team, but there is still only so much he can do from his current position.

"I'm not a free agent, I'm under contract with the Packers," he said laughing during an appearance on Tuesday's episode of the Pat McAfee Show. "It gets lost in the conversation a lot."

Yet he said, "the Raiders fans were probably the most vocal and the most numerous" when he was playing in a pro-am golf tournament at Pebble Beach, echoing the shout out he gave the supporters when he was interviewed at the course:

The Raiders stand out for a number of reasons, not the least of which is the presence of Davante Adams.

The wide receiver played with Rodgers in Green Bay and said reuniting with the Raiders would be "a dream scenario," per Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Las Vegas also figures to be looking for a quarterback since it and Derek Carr are going their separate ways this offseason.

While the Packers would have to agree to trade Rodgers there, he may get involved with the front office and help facilitate such a move if the team decides to move on and let Jordan Love get his chance as the starter.

But it seems clear many Raiders fans would be in favor of such a move.
