2021 Masters expert picks, odds: Insider with 12 winners reveals predictions, prop bets, matchup plays

Five months after the last edition, golfers will get a taste of normalcy when they visit Augusta National Golf Club for the 2021 Masters starting Thursday. Players aren't all the way back to normal, as they still will have to take COVID-19 tests and the number of patrons will be limited. But one of golf's more traditional events will once again be a star-studded affair, led by defending champion Dustin Johnson, who finished with a four-round total of 268, 20 under par. Should Johnson be among your top 2021 Masters bets and included in your 2021 Masters props?

Besides winning the Masters, Johnson tied for second at the Houston Open and was sixth at the U.S. Open. Johnson is the 9-1 favorite to repeat in the latest 2021 Masters odds from William Hill Sportsbook. Bettors know the key to picking Masters winners is finding value picks, and there are plenty of 2021 Masters prop bets available as well. Before you lock in any 2021 Masters picks, make sure you check out the golf predictions from SportsLine data scientist Rick Gehman.

With his data-driven approach to betting golf, Gehman routinely crushes sportsbooks. At the Players Championship three weeks ago, the golf expert's best bets cashed more than $1,000 for $100 players. Those who have followed his picks have cashed in big, and his golf bets brought in more than $1,900 over the final 17 tournaments of 2020.

Gehman barely missed hitting on huge bets in two of the three weeks before the Players, but Justin Thomas came through for him at TPC Sawgrass. The former Player of the Year and PGA Champion had been in a funk, but he completed his rebound to win outright at 22-1 and also cashed Gehman's top-10 ticket.

What's more, at Pebble Beach, Gehman made a profit of $400 thanks to backing Daniel Berger to win at 20-1. At The American Express, his bets brought in nearly $600 when he hit a top-five bet on Patrick Cantlay and top-10s on Abraham Ancer and Francesco Molinari. Anyone who has consistently followed Gehman's advice is up big-time.

Now Gehman, whose models have produced 12 outright winners in the past year, has analyzed the latest 2021 Masters odds from William Hill Sportsbook and revealed his picks to win. You can only see them here.

We'll share one of Gehman's top selections to win the 2021 Masters: He is backing Collin Morikawa to make a strong run at the green jacket at 30-1 odds.

Morikawa, 24, is 30-1 to earn his first green jacket and continues to be among the tour's leaders hitting tee-to-green with a 1.640 average, third-best behind Bryson DeChambeau (2.099) and Jon Rahm (1.671).

He played in his first Masters in November, tying for 44th, but has upped his game since then and is now fourth in the Official World Golf Ranking. This season, he has had three top-10 finishes, including winning the WGC-Workday Championship at the Concession in February by three strokes. He also tied for seventh in the Sony Open in Hawaii in January and Sentry Tournament of Champions in January.

Look for Morikawa to be even better in his second Masters appearance as he takes aim at a fifth PGA Tour victory. See who else to back here.

Gehman also has isolated two other players to win, including a mammoth longshot listed at longer than 30-1. Anyone who backs these underdogs could hit it big. You can only see those 2021 Masters picks at SportsLine.
