Jacksonville Jaguars receivers
DJ Chark and Laviska Shenault Jr. were pleased with the new addition to their squad, celebrating the team's decision to draft Clemson star Trevor Lawrence on stage at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville.
Lawrence will inherit a team that went 1-15 last season, giving them the No. 1 overall pick that they used to draft him. He's certainly an upgrade over the trio of signal-callers they used in 2020, having three College Football Playoff appearances under his belt and a pair of national title game appearances.
He ended his collegiate career with 10,098 yards through 35 games, ending with a 33-2 record and a 2018 championship.
Chark led the Jaguars with 706 yards and five touchdowns last season, while Shenault was third behind Keelan Cole, who signed with the New York Jets this offseason. The ceilings for both Jaguars players figures to be higher with Lawrence on the other end of the ball in 2021.
