NOTES

OVERALL

Shemar Jean-Charles is a scrappy player with a slightly undersized frame. The two-year starter was able to record 16 pass breakups on 52 targets this past season, according to Pro Football Focus. He struggles in press at times, giving free releases without the fluidity needed to recover. He also seems to constantly be in a chase phase with receivers. His lack of size shows up in the run game, where he can be walled off too often and can struggle tackling bigger backs. Jean-Charles has the frame to be a slot corner but lacks the other prerequisite skill sets. He can add depth to a room but will struggle to make an impact on the field.

GRADE: 6.0/10 (Fringe Backup Potential, Round 7)
