MLB DFS: Top DraftKings, FanDuel daily Fantasy baseball picks, strategy for May 11, 2021

All 30 Major League Baseball teams take the field Tuesday, leading to a full MLB DFS player pool. Cleveland's Shane Bieber has struck out 77 hitters so far in 2021, and takes the mound as the Indians begin a series against Adbert Alzolay and the visiting Chicago Cubs at 6:10 p.m. ET. Boston's Nathan Eovaldi is in search of his fifth victory when he leads the Boston Red Sox in a series opener against Chris Bassitt and the Oakland Athletics at 7:10 p.m. ET.

Are Bieber, Alzolay, Eovaldi or Bassitt pitchers to consider as part of your MLB DFS lineups? And which position players should you lock into your daily Fantasy baseball tournaments, 50-50s and cash games on websites like DraftKings and FanDuel? Before locking in any MLB DFS picks for Tuesday, be sure to check out the MLB DFS advice, strategy and projections from SportsLine daily Fantasy expert Mike McClure.

McClure is a daily Fantasy pro who has won almost $2 million in his career. And when it comes to daily Fantasy baseball, McClure is at his best. Recognized in the book "Fantasy Football (and Baseball) for Smart People: How to Turn Your Hobby into a Fortune" as a top MLB DFS player, McClure's proprietary projection model simulates each game 10,000 times, taking factors such as matchups and recent results into account. This allows him to find the best values on every site.

On Monday, McClure recommended Giants pitcher Alex Wood as one of his top picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel. The result: Wood improved to 4-0 by striking out seven and allowing one earned run over seven innings to return over 27 points for DraftKings players and 49 points for FanDuel players. Anybody who had him in their lineup was well on the way to a profitable day.

Now, with the 2021 MLB season rolling on Tuesday, McClure has locked in his top MLB daily Fantasy picks. Head to SportsLine now to see them.

One of McClure's top MLB DFS picks for Tuesday is Nationals outfielder Juan Soto at $5,300 on DraftKings and $4,000 on FanDuel. Soto is hitting .262 with three home runs and 11 RBIs this season. He went 0-for-4 Monday night against the Yankees.

Soto much prefers National League pitching, with two of his three doubles and two of his three homers coming against NL staffs. But he is even more impressive against right-handers like Phillies starter Chase Anderson, slashing .310/.412/.405/.817 against righties in 2021. McClure likes the mismatch against Anderson (1-3, 5.54 ERA) on Tuesday night, and recommends Soto in all MLB DFS formats.

Part of McClure's optimal MLB DFS strategy includes Braves outfielder Marcell Ozuna at $5,000 on DraftKings and $3,300 on FanDuel. Ozuna is hitting .201 with four home runs and 20 RBIs this season. Ozuna was hitless in four at-bats Tuesday against the Phillies.

But Ozuna will be happy to see the Blue Jays come to Atlanta on Tuesday, as he has gone 4-for-13 with a double and two RBIs in three games against Toronto earlier this season. Ozuna faces a favorable matchup Tuesday against Blue Jays left-hander Robbie Ray, who is 1-1 with a 3.14 ERA this season. Ozuna also is hitting well at Truist Park in 2021, with three of his homers coming in the friendly confines.

McClure is also targeting an undervalued player who is set to explode for huge numbers on Tuesday. The stars are aligning for him to return tournament-winning value and he comes at a price that won't break the bank. You can only see who it is here.
