PSG are reportedly keen to move for Manchester City's Bernardo Silva this summer, with Kylian Mbappe said to be eyeing a reunion.
Le10Sport are reporting that star forward Mbappe and football advisor Luis Campos are both pushing to reunite with Silva, 28, following their time together with AS Monaco.
The playmaker was linked with a move away from City last summer, with Barcelona thought to be leading the race to sign him, but PSG have seemingly now emerged as the new front-runners.
He had been lined up by the Spanish club as a replacement for Frenkie de Jong, who was the subject of a transfer saga of his own last summer, but with no move eventually materialising for the Dutchman Silva remained in Manchester for a sixth season.
City have been dealt a considerable blow after it was announced they had allegedly breached financial fair play rules 115 times, and could now be set to lose one of their key players in the summer.
The report from the French outlet claims that Silva is Campos' priority signing this summer, after the club were restricted from wading into the transfer market in winter by Financial Fair Play rules.
Campos was the sporting director that brought Silva to Stade Louis II, and the Portugal midfielder starred alongside Mbappe to win the 2016-17 Ligue 1 title a year after the 58-year-old's departure.
Silva and Mbappe combined for six goals in 44 games over two seasons at Monaco, including once against City during their surprise run to the Champions League semi-finals in 2016-17.
And the presence of two faces from Silva's past are thought to be a bonus to Les Parisiens, who will likely have to fend off interest from Barca.
Silva was close to moving to the Nou Camp last term, but with the Blaugrana now hampered by Javier Tebas' demands that they shed £177million from their wage list, they could now be out of the race to land the £70m-rated star.
Le10Sport also claim that Silva aspires to take up a new challenge having won 11 trophies in a hugely successful six-year stay at the Etihad.
He said last summer of a potential departure: 'I've always said that I'm happy here, but I have no idea what's going to happen. We'll see, honestly.
'My relationship with the club is very honest. I've been open with them and they know what I want.
'If I stay, I'll be very happy, and I will always respect this club and give my best. If not, it's football, and we'll just see what happens.'
The player is still under contract at the club until 2025, meaning there is no pressure for the Citizens to settle for any less than their valuation.
However, the fact that Pep Guardiola was willing to part ways with Joao Cancelo in January highlights the fact that the Spaniard will readily open the door for those who wish to leave the club.
As well as Barca and PSG, another former club of Silva's, Benfica, are also thought to be interested in bringing him back to Lisbon.
However, they are also thought to be priced out of a move for the playmaker, given that their record transfer cost them £40m, some £30m short of the player's valuation.
