If you’re a Madden fan, the NFL Draft probably has you thirsty for some virtual football. EA sprinkles a few of the top rookies in the game via Ultimate Team immediately after the draft.
Hardcore roster makers work to produce a more all-encompassing roster update for those who want to use the teams with rookies, free agent pick-ups, and trade acquisitions.
The Operation Sports community has proven to be an excellent resource for this kind of content over the years, and this pandemic-stricken era is no different. If you own a PlayStation 5, you’re going to want to focus on the work of an OS user named Unfadeable 23.
He has put in a ton of work to produce one of the more authentic Madden offseason rosters you’ll ever find. He has created original versions of the rookies drafted through the first three rounds, and he has also updated all of the rosters to reflect trades, free-agent signings, and releases.
You can find UnFadeable’s roster by heading to the settings icon on the main menu, going into the community files section, and searching by his PSN ID: which is “UnFadeable 23.”
You can find the same kind of work on the Xbox One from a user named Sazzy 41.
There are a few differences, and while Sazzy 41 made it for a current-gen console, there is a way to convert it to a next-gen file as well.
Sazzy’s roster includes more rookies than Unfadeable’s, but they aren’t original created players.
Instead, they are primarily edits of existing veterans who aren’t currently on a roster. Depending on the way you like to play, one may be more appealing than the other. You find Sazzy’s roster going the same path as Unfadeable, and if you want to use it on Xbox Series X|S, you’ll have to start a franchise using the roster on Xbox One and then migrate it over to your next-gen console using the cloud saves feature.
You won’t be able to use it in an exhibition game on next-gen, but it should be fully functional in franchise mode. Perhaps this will tide us all over until Madden 22 releases later this summer.
