OVERALL
Daelin Hayes has a high upside but has only been a full-time starter for two seasons since 2013 because of various circumstances, including four shoulder injuries. Still, this is the type of player who was able to immediately crack the pass-rushing rotation as a true freshman at Notre Dame and was able to become a full-time starter as a true sophomore. He has not played a lot of football but has traits that should translate to success at 3-4 outside linebacker. Notre Dame thought enough of him to make him a team captain in 2020, when the Irish made the College Football Playoff.
