How good has Brock Purdy been for the San Francisco 49ers this season?
The second-year quarterback is getting lots of NFL MVP buzz after his performance in a 42-10 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.
As Mr. Irrelevant in 2022 — the last pick of the NFL Draft — Purdy carved up the Cowboys, going 17-for-24 passing (70.8%) for 252 yards, four touchdowns and a 144.4 passer rating.
This was against a Dallas defense that entered the game second in fewest yards allowed per game (259.8) and tied for first in fewest touchdowns allowed (four).

FOX Sports' Colin Cowherd said on "The Herd" that Purdy is not a fluke.
"I look at the first 10 starts of his career, all-time ranks, he's first or second in everything. The dude is good," Cowherd said. "He's accurate, he moves pretty well, he's obviously coachable. He lets it go, he sees the field. He wasn't the only reason for the win – I'm not suggesting that.
"We know the roster's better and we know the coach is better. And we know the schemes are better – I don't even know what Dallas' offense is. But Brock Purdy last night – folks, that's what an 'A' quarterback looks like. Maybe he's not 'A' down the road but he's an 'A' now."
Running back Christian McCaffrey, who scored a touchdown for the 14th straight game on Sunday, saw his MVP odds move to +2000 from +2500 after San Francisco handed Dallas its largest margin of defeat since a 49-17 loss to the New Orleans Saints in 2013.
Purdy has the 49ers offense purring, as it has scored at least 30 points in eight consecutive regular-season games.
The other QBs to achieve that? Kurt Warner, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.
Purdy improved to 10-0 as a starter in the regular season, tied for the second-longest streak to start a career in the Super Bowl era behind former Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger (15).
