The editor and author Fergal Tobin delivered the manuscript of his latest book to his publishers last December 28. With the title A City Runs Through Them, it is a history of Dublin told through the 20 bridges that cross the tidal section of the River Liffey. Sadly, following his death at the age of 74, Tobin will not see the fruits of his labour in print come November.
