A couple from Las Vegas fell so in love with Italy after their vacation - that they decided to recreate a slice of the picturesque country in the backyard of their home.
An area of their unique mansion resembles a charming Italian street, complete with cobblestones, a fountain, cafe tables and store fronts.
Lara and and David Stone, who are now divorced, are selling the 9,800 square foot house that sits on half an acre for $6.5 million.
Although the couple do not have any Italian heritage, the couple were inspired to create the street scene after several visits to the country and falling in love with the place.
Their version of the street, named Via Di Pietra, was created more than a decade ago when their home was being built. The renovations took almost two years to complete.
The area of the home where the street sits was simply a blank empty alleyway and the couple didn't want to leave it vacant.
Lara's mother had the idea of painting a mural but the couple decided to take things a step further and recreate an entire street scene.
A cobblestone floor was laid and storefronts were painted onto the walls with real windows placed in front in order to creating an even more lifelike feel.
A 'restaurant' complete with a table outside was named Ristorante Jaredino after their son Jared.
The windows of the restaurant come complete with sliding glass doors which open out into the basement.
A 'chocolate shop' sits opposite named Allison Cioccolato, named after the Stones' daughter, while Chez Andre, named after second son Andy, is a wine and cheese shop. It contains the empty wine bottles the couple have downed over the years.
The street numbers on each of the storefronts pay homage to their children's birthdays.
The European flavor also flows inside the home replete with dark wood fittings, marble and granite floors and archways.
The house also features a basement complete with a wine cellar and home movie theater with some comfy leather seating.
With the couple no longer together, the Stones have decided to sell up now that their children have also moved away and are in college.
