Jennifer Lopez jokes that Ben's 'miserable' look is actually his 'happy face'

Jennifer Lopez poked fun at husband Ben Affleck on Twitter after he went viral for looking 'miserable' at Sunday's Grammy Awards.

The couple further set social media ablaze after the singer, 53, appeared to 'snap at' the actor, 50, for not looking 'friendly' during the ceremony.

But in her latest tweet, Lopez joked that Affleck's deadpan look is his 'happy face.'

She did so while expressing excitement over the first trailer for Affleck's latest film Air, in which he directs and stars as Nike co-founder Phil Knight.

'AIR … cannot wait!' began Lopez, who tagged the Academy Award-winner's co-stars and embedded the full-length teaser in her post.

But unlike the one shared to YouTube, Lopez's version kicked off with a still image of Affleck's Knight scowling at the camera.

'My husband's happy face,' the On The Floor singer captioned.

Fans eagerly reacted to her humorous post with several replying with crying-laughing emojis.

The couple's seemingly tense exchange during Sunday's Grammys was caught on camera right as host Trevor Noah sat down next to them in the audience.

A lip reader commissioned by DailyMail.com recently revealed what the two had actually said to one another.

'Stop,' Lopez tells him. 'Look more friendly. Look motivated.' Affleck replies: 'I might.'

The following day, Lopez tried to brush off the drama by sharing her own footage from the evening featuring Affleck, with the caption: 'Always the best time with my love, my husband'

It came weeks after Affleck was captured angrily confronting his new wife at the January premiere of her rom-com, Shotgun Wedding.

In the clip, Lopez looks on serenely as a red-faced Affleck challenges her. She refuses to respond to his aggressive posturing, which seems to irritate him further.

Affleck and Lopez tied the knot in July after rekindling their romance in May 2021 after 17 years apart. They famously dated in the early aughts but called off their engagement in 2004.

The Gone Girl actor proposed again in April 2022 with a stunning green 8.5-carat diamond that Affleck reportedly paid over $5million for, as per Page Six.

They were legally declared husband and wife at a Las Vegas wedding chapel in July but held a lavish wedding ceremony the following month at Affleck's sprawling Georgia estate.

Along with forming a blended family with Lopez, Affleck has remained hard at work in the film industry.

His latest project Air sees his star alongside longtime BFF and collaborator Matt Damon.

Air, which tells the story of the rise of sneaker brand Air Jordan, is directed by Affleck and features an all-star cast including Jason Bateman, Chris Tucker and Viola Davis.

The shoes - produced by American corporation Nike, Inc - were created for Hall of Fame former basketball player Michael Jordan during his time with the Chicago Bulls in 1984, released to the public on April 1, 1985.

The Air trailer begins with Damon playing sports exec Sonny Vaccaro as hears about how both sales and growth in Nike's basketball division are trending downward before being called into Nike founder Phil Knight's (Affleck) office where he's given a stern talking to.

This is followed up by Howard White (Chris Tucker) and George Raveling (Marlon Wayans) telling Vaccaro that no one likes Nike shoes.

When discussing a new idea with his boss (Bateman) about pitching individual players on sponsorships, Vaccaro is told he needs a pretty compelling pitch.

'I can tell them the one thing other companies can't compete with his,' Vaccaro says. 'Our basketball division is terrible.'

'I do not love it,' his boss responds sardonically.

Vaccaro then watches numerous tapes looking for the perfect player to collaborate with before finding one and showing it to Bateman's character.

'Who's that Jesus? Can't afford him,' he responds to Vaccaro.

Damon then drives and shows up unannounced at the house of an older couple (Davis and Julius Tennon) who seem skeptical at his intentions.

The trailer shows a montage, underscored by Vaccaro's powerful plea to Knight about signing a rookie to be one of the brand's biggest faces.

In the montage, he plays craps at a casino and can be seen losing but picking up the dice again and giving it another shot.

Knight's voice can then be heard asking what their plan is with Vaccaro replying, 'We build a shoe line around just him.'

Vaccaro tells a designer he needs 'the greatest basketball shoe ever made,' and when asked who it's for he replies 'Michael Jordan' in a steely manner.

During a meeting with Davis' character, who is Jordan's mother Deloris, Vaccaro tells her 'I believe in your son. I believe he's the future. And his story is gonna make us want to fly. But a shoe is just a shoe.'

'Until my son steps into it,' she says back as a man, whose face is obscured but is possibly the actor playing Michael Jordan, turns a red and white sneaker over in his hands.

The trailer ends with a humorous scene where Knight asks Vaccaro if he has a name for the shoe. Vaccaro tells him the name is Air Jordan, and Knight makes a face.

'Seriously?' Vaccaro asks upon seeing the face to which Knight replies, 'Maybe it'll grown on me.'

Air is set for release exclusively in theaters of April 5.
