Anna Foley scored 23 points as Andover defeated Newton South 61-25 in a nonleague contest. … Keyona Raines tallied 21 points and hit the game-winning shot as Cathedral edged Pentucket, 65-63. … Abigail Wright scored her 1,000th career point as Newton North trimmed Bridgewater-Raynham, 35-34.

Marius Canery scored 29 points as Lawrence (14-1) defeated BC High 76-67 in a nonleague contest. … Liam McBride tallied a career-high 35 points as Hingham edged Brockton, 56-54. … Jason O’Keefe scored 25 points as Natick defeated Wachusett, 64-43.
BOYS HOCKEY
Austin Kelly, Connor Fryberger and Brendan MacNeil all scored, while Owen Watson made 22 saves as Catholic Memorial (12-1) defeated BC High 3-1 in the Catholic Conference.
Jack Browning scored twice as Weymouth defeated Framingham 4-2 in the opening round of the Ed Burns Coffee Pot Tournament Brinn Division. In the Doherty Division, Peter Grace and Cam Fici scored, while Greg Federico recorded the shutout as Belmont defeated Marshfield, 2-0. … Cam Fahey had a goal and an assist as Reading defeated Wellesley, 4-1.
FOOTBALL
Herald All-Scholastic quarterback Matt Festa of Duxbury committed to play his college football at UNH. This past season, Festa completed 163-of-241 passes for 2,943 yards and 35 touchdowns to go along with 496 yards rushing and 15 touchdowns in leading the Dragons to an undefeated year and the Div. 4 Super Bowl title.
