Sources close to 48-year-old lothario Leonardo DiCaprio have furiously denied that he is 'dating' 19-year-old French Israeli model Eden Polani - after the actor faced furious backlash over his alleged romance with the teen when they were pictured posing together at a party.
Rumors were rife that the Oscar winner was in a relationship with the former Glamour cover girl - who wasn't even born when his hit movie Titanic was released in theaters - however an insider has now insisted to DailyMail.com that the pair are not in a relationship.
'They were seated next to each other at a music-listening party,' the source said - although they did not comment on whether there had ever been any romantic connection between the two. 'There were a number of people at that event.'
The latest speculation surrounding Leo's love life comes amid ongoing controversy over his dating habits; the Titanic star famously only dates women who are under the age of 25, and even split from his last serious girlfriend, Camila Morrone, weeks after she hit the milestone birthday.
However, news that Leo might have gotten involved with someone less than half his age caused outrage on social media after he was pictured with Eden at Detroit-born singer Ebony Riley's release party for her new EP. The Oscar-winner was spotted seated next to the Paris-born model as they soaked up the atmosphere.
Seemingly missing from the event however was Leo's current girlfriend Victoria Lamas, who at 23 is 25 years his junior and almost half his age.
While sources close to Leo have denied that there is any long-term romance between him and Eden, the model seems to be acutely aware of the new-found attention she is receiving.
On Tuesday morning, she shared an image taken from what appears to be a New York City hotel on her Instagram Stories, tagging the location as 'New York' and writing: 'Long time no see.'
However, just over an hour after the photo was posted - amid the furious outrage that erupted on social media over their so-called romance - Eden had mysteriously removed the photo.
Eden was born in Paris to a French mother and an Israeli father and has been signed to several agencies, including IT Models, which focuses on boutique fashion, and Kult Models in Germany, among others.
The young beauty was encouraged to get into modeling for several years, but never took it seriously until she was discovered by ITM Models, according to Glamour Bulgaria, where she was a cover model.
The magazine described Eden as a fashion lover who loves to fit her own sense of style into new trends.
She also walked in Tel Aviv Fashion week in 2021 for its 10th Anniversary for Chen Bar Kalifa, who designed a clothing line around Israeli candy brand Milky. Kalifa is a student a Shenkar College, whose fashion students designs were featured on the runway.
Eden modeled designs by second, third, and fourth-year students. Tel Aviv Fashion Week debuted in 2011 by Motty Reif to revive fashion in Israel.
The chic teen largely does commercial work and has been in several perfume ad campaigns and even did a commercial for Fattal Botanica Hotel in Israel.
In a friend's TikTok, the young woman indicated she was into 'older' man as she and her friends all ran toward that side of the screen in the popular video.
Despite the model's ever-growing portfolio, DiCaprio's fans were quick to spot her young age and Twitter has gone wild with the news that her high school education was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Moreover, she was not even born when Titanic was released in 1997 - more than 25 years ago.

Eden is signed to IT models and is also a social media star with 195,000 Instagram followers.
Leo could be seen showing off a soft smile next to Eden as he appeared to enjoy himself at the packed party.
It is unclear if he is still with Lamas, as he was apparently last seen in public with the model back in late December.
His more recent yacht outings have been with other women, and he more recently enjoyed a boys' night out to watch the Los Angeles Lakers.
