Gucci has been ridiculed for designing a multi-coloured baseball cap with two peaks - costing £520.
The Italian luxury designer teamed up with sportswear giant Adidas to create a fashionable cap, but some say it looks like Sherlock Holmes’s deerstalker.
The cap is a half-and-half design, with Adidas's iconic three stripes running down the middle of the hat.
The Gucci pattern is on the other peak, with the Adidas logo with Gucci written underneath.
The cap, which was made in collaboration with the luxury brand, is a half-and-half design with the classic Adidas three stripes on one side.
A typical Gucci hat costs £310 and a plain Adidas one is £18, so customers are paying £192 extra for the privilege of the combination.
One shopper said it would suit Benedict Cumberbatch while starring in TV drama Sherlock.
Another said it would be perfect for Professor Quirrell from Harry Potter who has two faces on either side of his head.
A third joked it was versatile while a fourth said: 'Who the heck would spend money on that.
The Gucci website reads: 'Part of the Adidas x Gucci collection, this baseball hat features the GG Trefoil embroidery. Adidas and Gucci venture into a collection.
'Where the Web juxtaposes with the three white stripes, and the GG monogram combines with the trefoil.
'Inspired by the '80s and '90s, emblematic House's motifs mix with those of the historic sportswear brand Adidas resulting in a series of hybrid looks.'
The 'Adidas x Gucci double-sided baseball hat' is made in Italy. with the Adidas half comes in black, blue, green and purple.

The news comes after Adidas were mocked for designing designing a pair of loafers that look like football boots - costing £785.
The sportswear giant teamed up with Italian fashion house Gucci to create the smart shoes, which some say look like Adidas's Copa Mundial studded football boots.
The boots were worn on the pitch by legendary players such as David Beckham, Diego Maradona and Zinedine Zidane.
