Outgoing Chief Superintendent for the amalgamated Wicklow-Wexford Garda division, Anthony Pettit, gave a presentation on crime statistics at last week’s Wicklow Joint Policing Committee (JPC) meeting that highlighted the most prominent crime areas in the county.
Chief Superintendent Pettit provided stats across crime, broken down between the Baltinglass, Bray and Wicklow districts, comparing last year’s statistics with those from 2021. The statistics were based on provisional data from the gardai’s PULSE crime recording system and were verified by the CSO.
